About the Nelsonville Area Chamber of Commerce

MISSION STATEMENT, ADOPTED FEBRUARY 7, 2003:
The Nelsonville Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization that promotes, attracts, and strengthens business in the Nelsonville area.

CHAMBER WEB SITE
In 2004, the Nelsonville Area Chamber of Commerce Board members approved the expenditures needed to provide the Chamber and it's members a presence on the Internet. A 3-year purchase of www.NelsonvilleChamber.com has been confirmed. The Web site was up and running in 2005.

The Chamber website offers WORLD WIDE WEB surfers an invitation to our City and businesses, and announces our annual events, festivals, and daily attractions.

CHAMBER NEWSLETTER
The Nelsonville Area Chamber of Commerce Newsletter began monthly publication and allowing two advertising inserts in November of 2004. The Newsletter includes current yearly calendar of events, articles on chamber meeting discussions, progress on Chamber projects, and upcoming events. Beginning in 2009, the Chamber began sending the Newsletter to its members, via email, on a quarterly basis.

Deadlines for getting information included in the monthly newsletter is the 4th Monday of the month, prior to the month of publication. Information for the newsletter may be dropped off at the Tourism Center between the hours of 11am - 4pm located on the 1st floor of the Rocky Gear Store, submitted via our contact form, emailed to info@nelsonvillechamber.com
