The Columbus Symphony intends to collaborate with Stuart’s Opera House to present an orchestral concert and a series of educational outreach events in Nelsonville and the surrounding communities. This performance will be conducted by the acclaimed Music Director of the Columbus Symphony, Rossen Milanov and will feature an orchestra of 42 including strings, flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, horns, trumpets, and timpani. The program will be a combination of light classics and pops, creating an approachable event for all members of the community, including works from Beethoven, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Strauss, and Copland.
